Dental Office Renovation (is this design-build?)
Dr. Kotula bought a dental practice thinking he had three-hundred clients. He quickly discovered he had taken on three-hundred families! That meant he needed to expand his treatment facilities quickly. He came to OHC to add two more treatment rooms right away. It was a wise move for the busy dentist, as OHC handled all design, building, and zoning issues. Also, Allen at OHC obtained all the necessary zoning, permits, and attended municipal meetings to present the plot plan of the parking lot. He also presented the storm water plan and the architectural plan. A lot of planning was required for this project, to insure that things were done properly and in compliance with government regulations and standards regarding medical treatment facilities. OHC did the wiring and electrical for vacuum systems, and all dental treatment-related equipment. Other aspects included an emergency stairway, skylights above new patient rooms, plus fire, panic and ADA compliances.
